Privacy Policy

Fitra Labs ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Fitra Labs mobile app and website (fitralab.app), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash). You may optionally add your name, height, weight, fitness goals, and similar profile data.

Workout and fitness data. Exercises performed, sets, reps, weights, workout sessions, personal records, and progress over time. This data is stored against your account so you can see your history and progress.

Nutrition data (Pro feature). Foods you log, meal photos you take, macro and calorie totals, water intake, and daily targets. Meal photos are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for macro estimation and are not stored long-term.

Subscription data. If you purchase a Pro subscription, our subscription provider (RevenueCat) and Apple's App Store process the transaction. We receive a record of your subscription status (active, expired, refunded) — we never see your payment card or Apple ID password.

Device and technical data. Standard mobile device information needed for the app to function — device type, OS version, app version, anonymized crash logs.

Email signups. If you join our waitlist via fitralab.app, we receive your email address only.

How We Use Your Information

To provide the app's core features — saving your workouts, calculating your macros, showing your progress
To process subscription purchases and grant Pro access
To analyze meal photos and suggest foods (Pro AI features)
To send essential account emails (password reset, receipts) — never marketing without your explicit opt-in
To diagnose crashes and improve reliability

Who We Share Information With

We share information only with these service providers, strictly to operate the app:

Supabase — secure database hosting for your account and fitness data
RevenueCat + Apple App Store — subscription management and payment processing
Anthropic (Claude API) — meal photo analysis and AI food suggestions (Pro features only). Photos are not retained after analysis.
Resend — transactional email delivery
Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use third-party analytics that profile you across other apps or websites.

Your Choices

Access and export. Email hello@fitralab.app to request a copy of your data.
Delete your account. Tap Settings → Sign Out → "Delete Account" in the app, or email us. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Manage your subscription. iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops auto-renewal; you retain Pro access until the period ends.
Opt out of waitlist emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted-at-rest database storage, hashed passwords, and limited internal access. No internet service is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

Children

Fitra Labs is intended for users 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or via email. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
